Good Things to Know
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly memberships can be cancelled with 15 days written notice. Annual memberships run to the end of the paid year — no partial refunds, but you get every benefit until the last day.
What does "free shipping" actually cover?
All online orders ship free via USPS Media Mail for Devoted Regulars. No minimum order, no exceptions. Expedited or Priority shipping options are available at cost if you need something faster.
How does the birthday credit work?
We'll apply your credit to your account during your birthday month. You can use it on anything in the store — books, bar, bakery, artisan items. Just mention you're a Regular at checkout.
When do I get my sticker?
Right away — as soon as your membership is confirmed. Walk into the store and it's waiting at the counter, or we mail it to you that same week. Devoted Regulars get a different sticker than standard Regulars.
Can I upgrade from Regular to Devoted Regular?
Absolutely — just email us and we'll adjust your billing. If you're on an annual plan we'll pro-rate the difference. No need to cancel and restart.
Is this different from the Makers' Basement membership?
Yes, completely separate. The Regulars is a bookstore community membership. The Makers' Basement is a creative studio membership. You can have both — they don't overlap.
