[ash-ling] Booksellers is home to book clubs for every kind of reader. Our clubs are led by community members who love books — we provide the space, the coffee, the discounts, and the support. You bring the curiosity and the conversation.
Book Club — Stephens County
Our longest-running club has been meeting at [ash-ling] Booksellers for over three years — long before our doors officially opened to the public. Founded by members of the Stephens County community who simply wanted a place to talk about books, this group has become one of the heart's of what [ash-ling] is all about. New members are always welcome.

Club leaders get early access to our nationwide book-sharing program — see below for details on The Roaming Shelf.
"The best book club leader isn't an expert — they're just someone who loves reading and loves people. That's all it takes."
Running a book club doesn't require a literature degree or a teaching background. It requires someone who shows up every month, picks a good book, and asks a good question to get the conversation started. We'll handle everything else.
Clubs must meet at least once a month to maintain active status and leader benefits. That's the only requirement. Everything else is up to you — what you read, how you run the discussion, and how long everyone stays after to keep talking.
Reading the same book together should never be expensive. We offer volume discounts on any title ordered for a club — the more copies, the better the price.

Online Resources
Tools for Every Book Club
Whether you're looking for your next read, a discussion guide, or a place to connect with readers beyond Toccoa, these are the resources we recommend. All free, all updated regularly.
What if your book club in Nebraska could read the same book as a club in Georgia — and then pass those very same copies on to a club in Oregon? That's The Roaming Shelf.
Inspired by the old Netflix model of physical media sharing, The Roaming Shelf is our nationwide book-sharing program for book clubs. You choose a title, choose how many copies your club needs, and we ship them to you with a prepaid return label addressed to the next club on the route. Books travel. Clubs connect. Stories circulate.
It's a more sustainable way to read, a more affordable way to run a club, and a genuinely beautiful idea — the same book touching dozens of reading communities across the country, one club at a time.
Choose from our curated catalog of Roaming Shelf titles — books well-suited for group discussion, in sizes from 4 to 20 copies.
2
Reserve Your Set
Pick your title, your copy count, and your reading window. Pay a small per-book circulation fee — a fraction of retail price.
3
We Ship to You
Your set arrives before your scheduled meeting with prepaid return label already included. Read, discuss, enjoy.
4
Pass It On
Drop the books in the mail using the included label. They go directly to the next club on the route — and the conversation continues.
5
Connect with Other Clubs
Optional: leave a note in the books for the next club. See where your copies have traveled. A community of readers, linked by the same pages.
