Marvel Changes Everything
Stan Lee and Jack Kirby's Fantastic Four #1 (1961) launched the Marvel Age of Comics. Spider-Man, the X-Men, Thor, Iron Man, and the Avengers all debuted within a few years. DC simultaneously relaunched the Flash and Green Lantern with new science-fiction origins.
