The Studio provides tools, workspace, and community for artists, makers, crafters, and educators. Membership is a privilege, not a right, and may be modified or terminated by the Studio in accordance with these terms.
I understand the purpose and nature of this membership.
2
Membership Tier & Access
Member acknowledges their selected membership tier and its associated access level:

Resident Maker ($200/mo): 24/7 keycard access, dedicated workspace, leave projects set up, priority equipment access.
Studio Maker ($95/mo): Access during advertised store hours, shared hot-desk workspace, full equipment access.

Access beyond the member's selected tier requires an upgrade. Unauthorized access to restricted areas or equipment is grounds for immediate termination.
I understand my tier's access level and its limitations.
3
Payment & Billing
Monthly memberships are billed on or before the 1st of each month via the member's selected payment method. Class Passes are billed at time of purchase. Membership begins upon receipt of first payment. Payments more than 5 days late will result in suspension of access until paid. The Studio reserves the right to adjust pricing with 30 days written notice. No refunds are issued for partial months.
I understand the payment schedule and billing terms.
4
Equipment Use & Safety
Members must complete a safety orientation and equipment-specific training before using equipment independently. Training is required for: Cricut cutting machine, heat press, sewing machines, serger, and any other equipment designated by Studio management. Member agrees to: use equipment responsibly, follow all posted instructions, report damage immediately, and never use equipment without completing required training. The Studio is not responsible for damage to personal projects resulting from equipment use.
I will complete required training before using equipment independently.
5
Space Use & Cleanup
All members must leave shared spaces clean after each use. Shared tables, sinks, and equipment must be cleaned and returned to ready condition. Only Resident Makers may leave active projects set up in their dedicated workspace between sessions. Items left in shared spaces may be relocated without notice. The Studio is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. Members must respect other members' work, materials, and time.
I will clean up after myself and respect the shared space.
6

Member Artists and Class Pass holders have no dedicated storage. Items left in non-assigned areas may be moved or disposed of after 48 hours without notice. The Studio assumes no liability for stored items.
I understand the storage limitations of my membership tier.
7
Selling Work
Resident Makers are automatically eligible to sell handmade work in-store and on the [ash-ling] website, subject to the separate Artisan Consignment Agreement.
Studio Makers may apply to sell work through a curated review process. Approval is at Studio discretion.
Member Artists, Teaching Members, and Class Pass holders do not have automatic selling privileges but may apply for Artisan status separately.

All selling members must adhere to pricing, display, inventory, and tagging guidelines as outlined in the Artisan Agreement.
I understand the selling privileges of my membership tier.
8
Teaching & Classes
Members who wish to teach classes must submit a class proposal and receive written approval from Studio management. Revenue splits for class instructors are: Resident Makers receive the highest split; Studio Makers and Teaching Members receive a standard split; specifics are communicated at time of approval. All instructors must maintain a professional, safe, and inclusive teaching environment. The Studio handles all class bookings, payments, and promotion. Instructors may not solicit direct payment from students outside the Studio system.
I understand the class teaching requirements and revenue structure.
